The 2nd Annual “BOOTS ON THE GROUND HEROES RUN – 2013” was held Saturday, October 19 at 8:00 a.m. at Fort Clinch State Park Fernandina Beach, FL.

A 5k/10k Run – 5k Walk – Half & 1 Mile Kid Fun Run with a fun run and 51 motorcycles with flags to honor our fallen were in attendance. “Trees for Troops” decorated Christmas trees and signed cards for shipment to deployed troops during the holidays,

Mothers of America’s Military Fallen ~ Spc Kelly J. Mixon Foundation is a charitable nonprofit organization of volunteers, mostly Gold Star Moms, who found solace through serving others in need.
