A ritual in April is Leesburg Bikefest. And as with any good ritual there are things that recur…Leesburg Bikefest includes bikini contests, a bike show, tattoo expos, GREAT music, vendors galore, Lucky Man contests and more. Bike festivals include bikes that make you go “What?”, girls that make you go “WOW!” and occasionally sights that make you go “WTF?”. The circus effect of all these things is what makes a bike rally interesting. Leesburg had it all: 3 bikini contests, even a fourth for the females to enjoy called the Lucky Man Contest, too many stages to count and so many interesting faces and places you can’t possibly see it all, add to that beautiful roads to ride going south, east, west or north. The music this year included Fire House, Seven Mary Three, Greg Billings Band and over 60 other bands. With sponsors that included Budweiser, Gator Harley-Davidson, Harley-Davidson Insurance and the Leesburg Partnership Leesburg is able to put on a Class A Event. Next year’s dates for Leesburg Bikefest is April 26th-28th, see you there!
