The Great Smoke

By Lulu

SmokeUp

I am not a cigar aficionado…never even puffed one, but when Bill Grotto from Twisted Tea invited TJ (a fine cigar loving man) and myself to attend The Great Smoke we took the long ride down the coast to Lake Worth for a new experience. The event was held at the American German Club hosted by Abe a local cigar expert. For the purchase of a ticket (base price is $150) you receive a purse size cooler and then you go “Trick or Treating” to sample 41 cigars. Some of the proceeds go to a children’s cancer charity. A great variety of free food and alcohol was served and a good band played. Girls from the Spearmint Rhino were on a pole entertaining the masses and allowing photos. So, for men it was a perfect playground…hot girls, good food, cigars and music. And for me it was a wonderful afternoon with two of my best guys and 3 new friends! If you enjoy cigars and have never gone to one of these events check it out next year it was a great time!
