A fantastic event in November each year actually occurs right over our state line in a community on Mobile Bay, Fairhope, Alabama. This event is a weekend party which includes some of the best music you can hear anywhere…this year was no exception featuring Mustang Sally and Lynryd Skynyrd!!! The first night kicked off with a Halloween party and the old potato farm, Oak Hollow was littered with grown up trick or treaters of every kind. Along with music, vendors, bike show, and camping there is the ride! And the ride is what this event is really all about. The Angel Ride benefits 3 states Georgia, Alabama and Florida. The money raised goes to help families of children born with medical problems in the name of two children Raylee and Rileigh. These two little heroes were born with some health problems and their families saw other families struggle with financial problems at a time that the focus needed to be on their children. The Rileigh & Raylee Angel Ride Foundation was formed to try to make a difference for those in need. The foundation has helped over 900 families and almost all the money raised comes from this bike event. Put this on your to do list for 2015. The people are awesome, the event well organized, the countryside in Fairhope is beautiful and the small town of Fairhope welcomes bikers with open arms, huge smiles and a spirit of thankfulness for what bikers do for this cause!
