What started out as 4 fun days outside playing kick ball by two friendly bars, Cabbage Patch Bar and Sorry Charlie’s Corner turned into a grueling competition and a final playoff for the title, nut kicking trophy and the $200 donation to the charity of the winners choice. In the end after the first 2 wins by Sorry Charlie’s, then 2 wins by Cabbage Patch, there had to be a tie breaker which Cabbage Patch won 8 to 3. Charlie, not to be outdone, ended up giving his charity more than the $200 we donated to Cabbage Patch’s charity! Sorry Charlie’s charity was the Humane Society! This was actually a terrific way to spend Saturdays. Hope they do it again next year!
