If there is one thing I can say about the folks at Adamec Harley Davidson in Jacksonville it is that they are involved in their community and that they throw some great events at their Baymeadows dealership for charity. The Lex and Terry Ride, Ride for Smiles, Light up the City Ride and Bike and Boil II are just a few of the many causes they support.

Bike and Boil II is an escorted ride that starts and ends at Adamec Baymeadows to benefit Angelwood, a charity that helps improve the quality of life for children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. This year the ride was led by Sheriff John Rutherford.

After the ride the party begins and the food is a low country boil featuring corn on the cob and shrimp! Live music by Blistur filled the air. The 140+ riders had a beautiful day to ride and to enjoy great food, friends and to help support a wonderful cause.

Adamec and Angelwood want to thank those who participated in the ride, the police escort and their many sponsors that made this a huge success. Next year’s Bike and Boil is scheduled for February 23, 2013 put this on your list of rides! For more information on Angelwood go to www.angelwoodjax.org.
