Adamec Harley Host of the Ride for Justice
By Raven Van Pelt
Well Folks, I’m back to tell you about yet another great ride, that I was honored to be a part of. On June 30th, we started from Adamec Harley-Davidson in Jacksonville, on a beautiful, but very hot day. This ride was for The Justice Coalition which reaches out to victims, the community, law enforcement and legislators, to help victims of violent crimes. Their goals are to be available, educate, and be pro active. The Justice Coalition works closely with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff John Rutherford. They have been instrumental in bringing more than 1800 criminals to justice. So far…
Fugitives Caught- 2,189
Persons Found -171
They are also proud to recognize their partnership with WJXT Channel 4 in the monthly broadcast “Eye on Crime” which airs at 8:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month, getting the community involved in solving violent crimes in the Jacksonville area. I was in awe of how many riders came out; among them were the Blue Knights, Iron Brotherhood, the Watchmen, Hired Guns, and Veteran Enforcers, just to name a few, all showing their support for this great cause.
A special thanks to Adamec for being so involved in the Jacksonville community.
