3rd Annual Eli’s Ride for a Cure

By Lulu

Paul Matthews is on a mission again. This Desert Storm veteran lost his 10-year-old son to childhood leukemia and since then Paul has dedicated his life and resources to finding a cure and making children that have to suffer through treatments life a little brighter. This year the ride for Eli Seth Matthews Leukemia Foundation started at Seminole Harley-Davidson with coffee and donuts provided by the dealership, 2nd stop was Orlando H-D, although you could also choose to just start the ride there. Then off we rode to Nemours Children’s Hospital where the riders brought bags of Hot Wheels for the patients to brighten their day! Eli’s dad presented a check for the arts department at the hospital also out of the foundation funds! The ride continued on to Black Hammock and final stop Decision Tactical. John and Donna, from Naughty Hog, organize this ride and have been doing so for 3 years now. Eli’s legacy of BELIEVING a cure is possible lives on in his father’s hands and all the volunteers and riders that give of their time and money.
