Long’s Log Cabin in Welaka is known for two things: great music and throwing fun parties! Whether it is celebrating the Irish for St. Patty’s, their Halloween Ever After costume party, or the Roaring Twentie’s event we attended in June…the place goes all out! For this event men and women came dressed in Roaring Twenties attire, even the staff was dressed like barkeeps from the 20’s. The band that kept all on the dance floor was J W Gilmore and the Blues Authority. It is worth getting a cabin to spend the night or entire weekend to party like rock stars with Waylon and Tonya Long.
