As all of you who read Thunder Roads Florida know we love our veterans! We were honored to be able to participate in many veteran events in November. A special evening was hosted by Rue, Ziffra and Caldwell which started with a ceremony at the Flagler Government Services building with presentation of the flag, speeches and the beginning of the motorcycle ride to the party destination at the Coca Cola Pavilion at Destination Daytona. Upon our arrival a wonderful meal was waiting by Moore’s Catering, cocktails, live music, silent and live auctions. The Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall and several other displays were in the pavilion. One of the special events of the night was the empty chair ceremony. And a spontaneous singing performance by Rolling Thunder’s Rich Malifanto.
