Out in the country of South Putnam county, a nice two wheeled ride away from Daytona, Deland or St. Augustine, is a bar called Long’s Log Cabin. The owners Waylon and Tonya had something to celebrate recently and a pin on Waylon’s chest touted they were celebrating that Waylon is “OLD”! Not quite 50, he is stretching the truth in my mind but getting a year older is worth a shot or two!!! The band Stonegrey is one of my favorites and the place was packed! You must put this on your “ride to” list during Biketoberfest. It is about an hour-long beautiful country ride out to Welaka. Waylon is a veteran and teacher who loves his country, wife and Harley! So happy year 49 Waylon and many more!
