Nobodies’ Opinion August 2011

Nobodies Opinion Header

By Billy”Kneecap”Braddock

This month the article will be short and a little wishy-washy because I'm getting ready for a trip to Sturgis. This will be my first time and the time to complete my bucket list is getting short. Like I always say “the good thing about old age is that it doesn't last long”. Read the rest of this entry »

Pony Tales August 2011

By Lulu There are all types of “bike enthusiasts” and HOG owners are in a league of their own. Hog Owner Groups have state conventions each year, and if you own a Harley and aren’t a HOG member you may not have attended one of these rallies before and therefore don’t know what you are missing. This year Florida’s convention is in Destin! That area is my ol’ stompin’ grounds and Read the rest of this entry »

Harley Rendezvous…Number 33

By Miserable George Or as it is also known...The Rain-de-vous!! Yep, Number 33 was a wet, muddy, mess!! The grounds were completely saturated, but that didn’t seem to deter the hoard of bikers zeroing in on Mariaville, N.Y., the week-end of June 23, 24, 25, and 26, 2011. Not too bad getting in and set up, but getting out was a different story. OK, enough whining! The gang from Maine brought their big canopy, so, we had a little shelter when it rained. Our first "event" was a mud wrestling match between two little honeys camped near us, and, this was almost the order of the day! Why do folks like to roll around in MUD?? Rolling Thunder 2011

By Lulu Be Sure to scroll to the bottom for several Rolling Thunder Cams A biker’s typical dream trip is to ride to Sturgis, Myrtle Beach or Daytona. But I am here to tell you the most important trip to make in your life as a biker is the Rolling Thunder Ride to the Wall. County by County Riding Florida…Lee-Home of History and BIG TREES

By Lulu Every month I find the differences in Florida’s counties so interesting. Often the differences are created by the counties founders, the products the county produces or geography. Some may be pretty roads, some lakes every where you look and in Lee County it is vegetation that catches your eye. And history! Read the rest of this entry »
